- It is 92 kilometers far from Phu Bai international airport to the south and 107 kilometers to Dong Hoi airport of Quang Binh Province to the north.

Quang Tri lies on the East – West economic corridor (EWEC)

- The first point toward the East Sea is Cua Viet Port of Quang Tri Province.
